Profile - Area Sales Manager


Job Location - Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Pune



Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving revenue and profitability goals of a region across all customer
    segments
  • Identify, develop & manage different channels of business (distributors & direct sales) in the
    area.
  • Responsible for developing, monitoring sales activities and implementing corrective actions
    to achieve targets.
  • Work closely with Key Account team & explore new accounts/business opportunities to build
    the company's customer pool.
  • Identify market development opportunities and increase unit growth, profitability and
    category share for assigned customers.
  • To build and maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordination with purchase authorities and distributor/dealer for ensuring supply and
    liquidation of products.
  • Ensure a programmatic engagement between the company and Key account.
  • Sales/Margin and collection target met or exceeded.
  • Grow revenue from current and new customer base.
  • Implement locally all national promotions and programs.
  • Maximize share in all accounts.
  • Maintain consistent customer contact and relationship.
  • Market feedback on competitors activity and offerings.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Degree in science or Bio medical engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum 2-6 years of relevant experience in selling diagnostic equipments to Hospitals, Institutes, e-tendering business, Hearing aid centers or dealers
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience in generating new sales via cold calls.
  • Strong positive can do attitude
