Area Sales Manager / Product Specialist - Surgical & Medical Devices



Profile - Area Sales Manager


Job Location - Delhi


Roles and Responsibilities



  • To cover Sales & Marketing activity in North India
  • Reporting to Sales Manager
  • Meet all Surgeon more focussed on Neuro, Spine, Plastic, ENT, Cardiac, Transplant Surgery, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Responsible for Sales & Marketing activity
  • Attend Surgeon Conferences in North India
  • Manage all Channel Partners
  • Submit Daily report on activities carried out in the territory
  • Handle all service related issues and coordinate with Sales Manager and Head Office
  • Payment Collections for the sales executed under North Region
  • Monthly/Quarterly Sales planning
  • Responsible for driving revenue and profitability goals of a region across all customer
  • segments
  • Identify, develop & manage different channels of business (distributors & direct sales) in the
  • area.
  • Responsible for developing, monitoring sales activities and implementing corrective actions
  • to achieve targets.
  • Work closely with Key Account team & explore new accounts/business opportunities to build
  • the company's customer pool.
  • Identify market development opportunities and increase unit growth, profitability and
  • category share for assigned customers.
  • To build and maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordination with purchase authorities and distributor/dealer for ensuring supply and
  • liquidation of products.
  • Ensure a programmatic engagement between the company and Key account.
  • Sales/Margin and collection target met or exceeded.
  • Grow revenue from current and new customer base.
  • Implement locally all national promotions and programs.
  • Maximize share in all accounts.
  • Maintain consistent customer contact and relationship.
  • Market feedback on competitors activity and offerings.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Graduation

Excellent communication skills.

Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in selling Surgical & Medical devices.

Willingness to travel.

Experience in generating new sales via cold calls.

Strong positive can do attitude
