Vice President (Quality) For Chemical Industry


Should responsible position in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in Chemical, Agrochemical, specialty or Fine Chemical or an R&D Analytical, Agro Formulation Development, GLP fields, to identify and analyze problems, coming out with solution permanently, applying innovative ideas to obtain new knowledge in chemistry for the personal as well as organizational development.


A. ANALYTICAL & QUALITY CONTROL.


  • Calibration, use & good theoretical & practical interpretation of instruments like, UV Spectrophotometer, Colorimeter, HPLC, GC, GCMS, LCMS, AAS, XRF, Ion Chromatography (IC), FTIR, Preparative HPLC, NMR, coulometer, Particle Size Analyzers (Malvern), Karl Fischer, Busting strength, compression strength & Expert in Wet Chemical Method.
  • Method Development for new Molecules & their Validation for instrumental analysis as well as Wet Chemical Analysis.
  • Preparation & validation of working standard concerning the reference Standard (collected from international certified & recognized organizations)
  • Worked as Technical Head for NABL Lab, got the laboratory certified by NABL, faced Surveillance Audit.
  • Prepared Quality Plan, Calibration Plan for all laboratory Apparatus for NABL Certification.
  • Exposure in the sampling procedure, Inspection, and testing of Raw materials, Packing Materials, In-process & Finished Goods of Technical as well as Formulation.
  • Experienced in residual pesticide analysis in water & foodstuff.
  • Carrying out accelerated storage test & stability of the products for the Bioefficacy of the product.
  • Quite efficient and experience of identifying the impurities profile, characterizing& quantifying these impurities in the product with setting up new analytical method & validation with the help of different kind of sophisticated instruments.

B . DOCUMENTATION, DATA ANALYSIS & QUALITY ASSURANCE


  • Preparation of documents, Facing of Audits & worked with the systems like TPM with Six sigma,7 Q.C Tools, ISO 9001-2008, 14001,18001,17025 (NABL), GLP & Given the sole authority for the documentation, change in the existing documentation with the consent of MR & Prior approval of an authorized person.
  • Preparation of document on NABL certification, proficiency in the calculation of uncertainty in analysis & z value for the statistical aspect of NABL requirement.
  • Handling of customer complaints & their speedy resolution, Planning, and execution to achieve zero customer complaints.
  • Preparation of SOP for vendor audit, evaluation, and report to Purchase Dept. & Corporate Q.A Head
  • Root cause and FMEA analysis, Fish Bone, and five WHY analyses of the process for any process defect.
  • Preparation & presentation of the monthly report about laboratory activities & presentation of process capability in terms of lab analytical data using various statistical tools.
  • Change in the documentation in the QMS system prescribed by different auditors at the time of the audit, with proper review no.
  • Thrive for continual improvement in the QMS system and process as well.
  • Certified internal auditor for ISO:90001:2008,ISO:14001&ISO:18001& IMS,LIMS System
  • Help & impart training to Q.C Supervisor /Technicians/officers to make understand the SOPs and handling of sophisticated instruments and classical analysis.
  • Should familiar with different Transactions of SAP R/3 since 2002 for the Quality Control (QM Module as an end-user).
  • Preparation and presentation of a monthly review of the different audits & analysis of process control & process parameter using different statistical tools
  • Preparation of CAPA for the customer complaints, annual CAPEX, MIS monthly BRM, MRM
  • Plant cleaning validation (Dry as well as wet cleaning) for the prevention of cross-contamination of very selective & highly active herbicides products.

C. SAFETY HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT


  • Proficient in ETP water analysis COD, BOD, NOX, SOX, TDS, ammoniacal nitrogen, chloride, phosphate, cyanide, arsenic, lead, etc. & Operation.
  • Preparations of documents & knowledge of HAZOP study for the safety and environments & working with a system like BRITISH SAFETY Councils FIVE STAR FOR ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY
  • Proficiency in Risk Identification & Removal (HIRA), HAZOP study for safety, and Aspect Impact Analysis for the Environment.
  • Proficiency in DM water analysis for captive power plant for hardness, silica & chloride & Generation of the report.
  • Proficiency in air monitoring of respective plant for the stack gas analysis, Ambient Air monitoring for particulate, fluoride, NOX, SOX, etc.& generation of the report to the government authorities with consultation with the concerned person.
  • Should Work with different environmental projects like SCWO (Super Critical Water Oxidation) to minimize the COD, BOD to the acceptable limit.

D . PROCESS DEVELOPMENT


  • Skilled in carrying out experiments according to the DOE for Process improvements, for the improvement in yield & purity by reducing impurities as per customer requirements, reduction of time cycle for the process optimization.
  • Trained and expert in wastewater management for zero discharge exploring various routes through recycling and reducing toxicity.
  • Good Knowledge of process chemistry & Took participation in various projects team and actively involved time and again in process-oriented R&D work to identify the process defect, hazards, and process parameter loop wholes to further smoothen the process.
  • Carried out Experiments to improve purity, Yield & to reduce Time cycle & Consumption norms of the Raw materials.
  • Q.A Data analysis using different statistical methods (S.Q.C & Six Sigma & Process Mapping tools) for the process mapping to sort out the process hazards and finding the possible solution.
